Authentication Systems Changes

We are undertaking security updates to our authentication systems as previously announced. This will lead to changes in login workflows, mainly associated to Multi-Factor Authentication. These changes are being deployed across the summer break. Student induction information is being updated to update guidance. Questions on the changes can be directed to the IT Service Desk.

St Michaels - Edge Network Refresh

We are undertaking replacement of Central Saint Michaels Edge Network, this replacement will result in significant speed of access improvements across all connectivity formats. Network access across the site will be unavailable periodically as the new infrastructure is bought online.

Cadbury Campus - Structured Cabling Replacement

We are undertaking significant replacement of legacy structured network cabling across Cadbury South Block, LRC & East Block. This work will see network services unavailable until completion. Following completion improvements to network speed and reliability will be available.

Large Endpoint Refresh and Upgrades

Over the summer, IT Services will be undertaking a major programme of infrastructure improvements and technology upgrades, including the replacement or upgrade of more than 2,500 staff, student and classroom devices across the College estate. this affects all sites and you should check in with advanced notice with IT Services if your planned work area will have working IT facilities. This includes a large Smart Screen refresh across the Cadbury site.
